The highly developed and well-defined trails have been used for centuries.
Trekking Grades
Easy
Holidays/weekends are the easiest treks in the Himalayas and involved walking up and down the hills or the reasonable level of earth surface. All short treks of about 4-6 days are included in this category.
Moderate
Treks in this category are designed for 7-15 days that rely upon the trekkers' needs as well. These treks take you up to an elevation of 3000 m above sea level, though some demands 15 days more above 5000 m high.
High Altitude
All longer treks exceeding 15 days duration are in this category. These treks include high passes above 5000 m taking you to high mountains/deserts. So, the treks in this category are a real challenge and provide you with an opportunity to observe old life-style, culture, and tradition of the people living in these places.
