Kathmandu: Several days are spent exploring Kathmandu and we include a trip to Bhaktapur, the ancient capital half an hours drive from Kathmandu. This world heritage site is a living museum of beautiful medieval palaces and temples.
Pokhara Valley: We then drive to Pokhara a bustling town set beneath the beautiful Machhapuchhare or Fishtail Mountain (22,942 ft) and the Annapurna Himalayan range. Our one day trek follows the rim of the Pokhara valley with superb views of mountains and terraced fields. We follow trade routes from village to village along ridgeline paths.
Chitwan: We finally arrive at Chitwan for several days exploring the jungle on foot and elephant back looking for Tiger, Rhino and other animals on our safari.
Itinerary Outline
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport and Hotel transfer
Day 02: Tour of Kathmandu and surrounding areas including Bhaktapur Durbar square
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and Afternoon sightseeing around
Day 04: Early morning drive to Sarangkot for sunset view and back by trek
Day 05: Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan. Afternoon Jungle activities
Day 06: A full day jungle activities in Chitwan
Day 07: Morning after breakfast drive to Kathmandu
Day 08: Transfer to Airport for your departure flight
