Kusum Kanguru Climbing (6369 m)

Mt.Kusum Kanguru dominating the southern end of Charpati Himal separates the valley of the Dudh Koshi from the upper reaches of Hinku Drangka. This peak is a complex, triple-summited mountain having at least five major ridges and faces. The north face of the main summit is the most spectacular one. The name Kusum Kanguru comes from Tibetan meaning "Three Snow Peaks".This peak is one of the most technical trekking peak to climb and was first ascended in the autumn of 1979 by a Japanese team.
    Itinerary Outline

    Day 01: Pick up from Kathmandu Airport, transfer to Hotel
    Day 02: A free day in Kathmandu for permit prepairation
    Day 03: Early morning flight to Lukla (2800m) Overnight in Lodge
    Day 04: Lukla to Chutenga (3350m)
    Day 05: Chutenga to over Zatrela pass overnight at Chatrarbu (4340m)
    Day 06: Chatrabu to Kothe (3700m)
    Day 07: Kothe to Yak kharka (4100m)
    Day 08: Yak khara to Kusum khangaru Base camp (4780m)
    Day 09: Base camp Rest for Acclimatization
    Day 10-15: climbing period
    Day 16: Trek back to Kothe
    Day 17: Kothe to Chatrabu
    Day 18: Chatrabu to Lukla overnight in Lodge
    Day 19: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel
    Day 20: A free day in Kathamndu
    Day 21: Transfer to International Airport and fly home.
